CM, RAJINI WATCH ENDHIRAN TOGETHER


Endhiran got released on Friday to an unexpected opening in the history of Indian cinema. With fans thronging the movie halls and lots of people looking for movie tickets, it was time for the celebrities to have a dekho at the Rajini's latest digital avatar. In a special screening on Friday evening, Endhiran was screened for the Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at Sathyam Cinemas. The screening was attended by Rajinikanth, director Shankar, Anthony and other celebrities.

Anushka says that she never refused to act with Simbhu


Anushka became popular among Tamil audience after acting in the film Arundhathi. She who paired with Surya in Singam is now pairing with Simbhu in the film Vaanam.
There was news initially that Anushka refused to pair with Simbhu in this film. They persuaded her lot and made her to act.
When asked Anushka that why she refused to act with Simbhu, she said,” Vedam is a beautiful story in Telugu in which I had acted. When this film was decided to be remade in Tamil they requested me to the same role which I did in Telugu. They said Simbhu is doing the lead role. I agreed.
There were rumors that I refused to act with Simbhu. They were purely rumors. I did not refute this. I am happy that I am pairing with Simbhu. My character in this film will be controversial. I do not want to be trapped in this image net. I want to different kind of roles in each film. My character in this film would be much spoken about.”

WHAT MADE ANUSHKA UPSET


Looks like Anushka is all set to romance Vikram. For, sources say the yoga tutor turned actress has signed a film with the 'Cheeyan' which would be directed by Vijay of 'Madrasapattinam' fame.
It is said that the director met the actress when she was in Chennai recently for her another upcoming film 'Vaanam' and narrated the story and the importance of her character.
"Impressed by it, Anushka immediately expressed her consent to be a part of the film. This will be her first film with Vikram and she is thrilled about the project", sources add.
Anushka, who has acted in Tamil with Madhavan, Vijay and Suriya, is a top actress in Tollywood. Impressed by her performance in 'Arundhathee', Silambarasan has roped in her for 'Vaanam'.
