Uthamaputhiran will be released on Diwali day. This film’s premiere show was screened at the Four Frames Theatre on November 3, 2010 at 6:45 pm. The entire Rajinikanth clan, including the Superstar, Latha Rajinikanth, Dhanush, Aishwarya Dhanush and Soundarya were present.Vivek, Vijay Anthony, Y Gee Mahendran’s daughter Madhuvanti and Mrs. Y Gee Parathasarathy also watched the film along with the Rajini family.
