Actor S S Chandran passes away
Comedy actor and politician S S Chandran breathed his last due to cardiac arrest. He had been to Idumbavanam near Tiruvarur to participate in an AIDMK public meeting last night. After speaking in this meeting, he returned to Manarkudi where he was staying in a lodge. He complained of chest pain. He was admitted in the hospital. But the treatment given to him was in vain. He passed away in the hospital.
S S Chandran who is aged 69 made his debut through the Tamil film Kadhal Paduthum Paadu. He came to cinema industry in the age of 14. He has acted in 800 films including Sahadevan Mahadevan, Kathanayagan, Once More,Uzhaippaali,Thangamani Rangamani, Maappilai and Paatti Sollai Thattathy. He has also produced three films.
S S Chandran who hails from Sivagangai has two wives. He has one daughter through his first wife and two sons and one daughter through his second wife. His son Rohit has done the lead role in the film Oru Murai Sollividu.
S S Chandran who entered politics through DMK later on became a member of MDMK. After some time he joined AIDMK and became an MP.
